Prada Mode is a traveling social club with a focus on contemporary culture and came to Abu Dhabi’s MiZA, marking the initiative’s second iteration in the Arab world and the UAE after debuting in Dubai in November 2022. The unique art experience provides members with a string of events that include music, dining and conversations, and for its Abu Dhabi edition – its eleventh in the series – it showcased an immersive installation by Theaster Gates, who conceived a square and a circle, reflecting on the outer and inner, structural and intimate. For its Abu Dhabi iteration, I curated the cultural programme that included a talks programme, traditional workshops, and performing artists.
